The services provided by Karima Reisinger â Emotion Institute consist of relational and psychocorporeal therapeutic support, including Somatic ExperiencingÂŽ, NARMÂŽ, Family Constellations, and related approaches.
These services do not constitute medical treatment, psychiatric care, psychological diagnosis, or medical psychotherapy within the meaning of applicable laws.
The services are intended for personal development and therapeutic support only.
Clients currently undergoing medical or psychiatric treatment are advised to consult their treating physician or psychiatrist prior to engaging in services.
2. No Medical Relationship
No doctorâpatient relationship or medical therapeutic relationship is created by booking or attending sessions.
The services offered are complementary in nature and do not replace medical or psychiatric care.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
Therapeutic support is an individual and subjective process.
No specific outcome, result, or improvement is guaranteed.
The Client acknowledges that personal engagement, participation, and responsibility significantly influence the process and its evolution.
4. Client Responsibility
The Client remains fully responsible for their decisions, behaviors, actions, and life choices at all times.
Sessions do not substitute personal judgment, medical advice, or emergency intervention.
5. Severe Trauma, Dissociation, and Crisis Situations
The services provided are not suitable for psychiatric emergencies, acute crisis situations, or severe psychiatric instability.
In cases of significant dissociation, acute decompensation, or crisis, sessions may be suspended and referral to appropriate medical or psychiatric services may be recommended.
In the event of an emergency, the Client must contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.
6. Online Sessions
Online sessions are conducted via secure communication platforms.
The Client is responsible for ensuring a private environment and adequate technical conditions.
While reasonable technical safeguards are implemented, absolute confidentiality of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.
7. Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential, subject to mandatory legal reporting obligations where applicable.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the website.
8. Recording Prohibition
The recording, reproduction, or distribution of sessions in any form without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
9. International Clients
Clients are responsible for ensuring that participation in this type of therapeutic support is lawful in their jurisdiction of residence.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Karima Reisinger â Emotion Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in sessions or from decisions made by the Client outside the therapeutic context.
11. Prior Mediation
In the event of a dispute arising in connection with the services, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution through prior mediation before initiating legal proceedings.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Therapeutic Informed Consent shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law.
The place of jurisdiction shall be Switzerland.
13. Acceptance
By booking a first session, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Therapeutic Informed Consent in its entirety
14. Professional Boundaries
The therapeutic relationship is a professional relationship established for the purpose of therapeutic support and personal development.
Sessions are conducted within clear professional boundaries. This includes, but is not limited to:

The absence of any personal, romantic, or dual relationship;

Communication limited to professional matters;

Contact outside of scheduled sessions restricted to administrative purposes only (e.g., scheduling or billing);

Respect for agreed session times and professional conduct.
The Client acknowledges that maintaining these boundaries is essential to preserving the integrity, safety, and effectiveness of the therapeutic process.
Any behavior that compromises professional boundaries may result in the suspension or termination of services.
