🎬 How Relationships Shape Your Brain [Interview]. Andrew Huberman (Host). argue that modern attachment theory has evolved into a regulation-based model in which affect regulation is central to both development and psychotherapy. Early caregiver–infant interactions shape right-brain systems responsible for emotional regulation and the implicit self. Therapeutic change, they propose, occurs through nonverbal, right-brain-to-right-brain affect regulation within the therapeutic relationship.
